The Cinema Foundation has selected 14 films out of 10 that will receive financial support. Applicants for it were presented back on May 19 at the annual pitching.
- “Kraken” – a fantasy about Soviet submariners and a sea monster. Director Alexei Sidorov and studio “TRITE” Nikita Mikhalkov.
- “Woland” – Another film adaptation of The Master and Margarita. Mars Media company and director Mikhail Lokshin.
- “Khoja Nasreddin” – cartoon directed by Timur Bekmambetov and Bazelevs film company.
- “One Hundred Years Ahead” – film adaptation of the story by Kir Bulychev. Company “Hydrogen 2011” and director Yegor Baranov.
- “World champion” – sports drama about a chess match between grandmaster Viktor Korchnoi and world champion Anatoly Karpov. Project “TRITE” and Alexey Sidorov.
- “Feat” – full-length debut of actor Alexei Smirnov. Production “Hydrogen 2011”.
- “The Righteous” – a drama about the Great Patriotic War. Director Sergei Ursulyak and Central Partnership.
- “Russian five” Is a historical drama about hockey players who left the USSR to play in the NHL. Film by Pavel Kostomarov and 1-2-3 Production.
- “John” – directorial debut of Alexei Chadov. The project of the film company “STV”.
- “Pied Piper” —Post-apocalyptic drama. Art Pictures Studio and director Alexey Mizgirev.
