US President Joe Biden is very eager to visit Ukraine, but due to the security situation, these plans are not yet being worked out.
This was stated by the Speaker of the White House Jen Psaki, – writes Ukrinform.
“There are no plans right now, and of course we will continue to assess the situation,” Psaki said.
But she added that, above all, the administration is interested in reopening the US embassy in Kyiv so that diplomats can have a permanent presence in Ukraine.
“I know that the president would like to visit Ukraine, but so far there are no such plans in the works as of today,” Psaki concluded.
Earlier, the administration of President Joe Biden submitted a request to Congress for additional $33 billion in funding to support Ukraine.
Recall that the US House of Representatives approved a bill on Lend-Lease for Ukraine .
