As of today, May 4, the total combat losses among the personnel of the Russian invaders from a full-scale invasion of Ukraine amount to 24,500 people. During the day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 300 Russian invaders.
The greatest losses of the enemy over the past day were observed in the Izyum and Novopavlovsk directions.
This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Also the invaders lost:
- tanks — 1077 (+15) units;
- armored combat vehicles – 2610 (+43) units;
- artillery systems – 491 (+16) units;
- salvo-rocket systems – 163 (+1) units;
- air defense systems – 81 (+1) units;
- aircraft — 194 (+0) units;
- helicopters — 155 (+0) units;
- automotive equipment and tankers – 1867 (+24) units;
- ships / boats – 10 (+0) units,
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 303 (+12);
- special equipment – 38 (+0);
- cruise missiles – 87 (+3).
Recall that on February 24, Russia attacked Ukraine , inflicting a series of missile and air strikes on civilian cities, including Kiev. The large-scale invasion has been going on for the 70th day (war of 8 years). The occupiers continue to destroy Ukrainian villages, towns and cities with cruise missiles and air bombs, killing civilians and causing devastating damage to infrastructure.
