Unpacking, kit overview

The packaging is in black and white. The front side shows the HIPER Live QTX10 headphones and their main advantages. The name and advantages are duplicated from the sides. On the back side we have the main technical characteristics, equipment and legal information.

After I opened the package, I found a folding box with the whole set.

It contains: headphones, USB Type-C charging cable, audio cable and user manual. The headphones are packed in a box without fixing and during long-term transportation, micro-scratches may appear on the case.

Appearance

Headphones are made completely in black, the only chrome elements on the headband on the sides. The headband and the ear pads themselves are made of matte paint, which, unlike gloss, will be less likely to get dirty from fingerprints.

The ear pads are made of eco-leather and fabric, with a diameter of 40 mm.

Adjustable headband on the headphones, soft eco-leather padding inside.

On the bottom of the right earpiece we see: an input for connecting an audio cable 3.5, a microphone, a USB Type-C connector for charging and a power indicator light. A little higher is the music control panel, namely the mechanical play/pause and skip/back buttons.

Usage

Before using for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the headphones for about a couple of hours.

After the battery is fully charged, you need to connect to the headphones via bluetooth (bluetooth module version 5.1 is installed). To do this, hold down the play button until the indicator light blinks, it will blink red and blue. In the bluetooth settings of the phone, we are looking for the HIPER LIVE QTX10 device and connecting. After a successful connection, the headphones emit a characteristic beep. Everything connected to the iPhone without dancing with a tambourine. The battery charge is displayed.

On my head they sit very tightly, but do not press, so I feel very comfortable. Initially, these headphones do not position themselves as sports, but I decided to test them anyway while jogging. During the run, the headphones also sat tightly, did not fidget, the sound was not interrupted, the connection was stable. The headphones use intuitive controls, in the instruction manual, we also pay attention that one button performs several functions, for example, a short press on the track switch button performs the function of scrolling through the composition, but holding this button increases / decreases the volume. The headset has a built-in microphone that works well and the interlocutor clearly hears your voice when talking or recording sound.

As the manufacturer stated, deep bass is well developed and clearly audible in the compositions, which can be adjusted and adjusted in the player’s equalizer, if there is such a function, but with regards to high frequencies, I think that they didn’t hold out a little.

I also tested a similar connection method via a 3.5 mm mini jack. For this method, you do not need to turn on the headphones, just connect the cable to the sound source. Outwardly, you can’t tell, but the cable is 1 meter long, so if, for example, the battery of the headphones is dead, you can continue using it through the cable.

autonomy

The battery capacity is 200 mAh. With a fully charged battery, the headphones can work up to 6 hours in music listening mode. In standby mode, the battery can last up to 240 hours. It was possible to fully charge the headphones from 0 to 100% in about 2 hours. But do not forget that in the case of a completely discharged battery, it is possible to continue using the headphones using a wired connection to the sound source.

pros

From the positive points, I emphasize:

  • Using headphones, not only in wireless mode, but also using an audio cable
  • The ability to charge the headphones from scratch in no more than 2 hours
  • Tight fit with adjustable headband allows you to use the headphones even while jogging
  • Well developed low frequencies
  • The optimum ratio of price and quality
Where can I buy?

More information can be found on the HIPER website.

Conclusion

Summing up, I’ll say that the HIPER LIVE QTX10 BLACK headphones are very easy to use, have several options for connecting to a sound source and a matte finish that will leave fewer prints than a glossy one. The earphones sit tightly on the head, while not squeezing and the use is felt quite comfortable.
