Today we are talking about the daughter of Sergei Lavrov – the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The minister himself has been under many personal international sanctions since 2022 due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Lavrov is married, his wife, Maria Lavrova, is a philologist by education, a teacher of Russian language and literature, she worked in the library of the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN. They have an only daughter, Ekaterina Vinokurova.

They say that Katerina always dreamed of a family with more than one child, since she herself grew up as the only child of her parents. Also in one of the interviews she told reporters that she had never seen herself married to a foreigner, since she likes the Russian mentality more than the mentality of the Western world.
Alexander Vinokurov is a Russian manager, top manager of a number of investment companies, managing partner and president of the investment company Marathon Group (Marathon Group), the main shareholder of the major Russian pharmaceutical distributor SIA Group and the Mega Pharm pharmacy chain. He owes his meteoric career to the connections of his father, Semyon Vinokurov, who had been in the pharmaceutical business in Moscow for a long time, and to the support of his father-in-law, Sergei Lavrov. True, the spouses still live in Russia. At least that was the case before the sanctions. But considering that Catherine’s children by her husband have Israeli citizenship, and she herself has American and, possibly, Israeli citizenship, they can leave at any moment.
