In the capital of Russia, fire engulfed a building on the territory of the Church of Peter and Paul, built in the 17th century.
On the evening of Tuesday, May 24, in the Russian capital Moscow in the Lefortovo district, a baptismal at the Church of Peter and Paul, an ancient church built in the early 17th century, broke out.

According to information from local emergency services, the fire engulfed a building with an area of 150 square meters, but did not touch the construction of the temple. Firefighters managed to localize the fire.
It is known that the parish church in the Lefortovsky district of Moscow was consecrated in 1613 in honor of Nicholas the Wonderworker.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and there is no information about the victims of the fire either.
