The situation in the Lugansk region is extremely difficult and worsens not even every day, but every hour.

This was told by the head of the Luhansk police department Sergei Gaidai.

According to him, the Russians are simply destroying Ukrainian troops from the face of the earth.

Gaidai said that the occupiers are attacking the Luhansk region in all directions at the same time . They attack the Severodonetsk direction in the Gorskaya community from the side of Zolote and Katerinovka, near Popasnaya from the side of Kamyshevakhi, and Lugansk Chernobaevka – Belogorovka.

“Severodonetsk is barely alive, the Russian army decided to destroy it completely . The city was bombarded with air bombs, they are being shot from multiple rocket launchers, artillery, mortars,” the head of the OVA noted.

The track “Lysichansk-Bakhmut” is completely shot through, it is extremely dangerous to drive along it. Enemy DRGs are already “working” there. The situation there, according to Gaidai, is on the verge of critical.

The Russians sent an insane number of fighters to the Luhansk region – according to rough estimates, up to 20 battalion tactical groups, as well as a large amount of equipment. In the occupied territories, they keep helicopters and heavy weapons at the ready.

“Free Lugansk region now is like Mariupol. We are an outpost that holds back the invasion and will definitely hold it back. Despite the advantage of the enemy army, It is we who will win, because we are fighting for our land. For every civilian killed, for every destroyed building, for every tear – to the end, to victory,” Gaidai summed up.

Earlier, the General Staff reported that the invaders are advancing in all directions in the Donbas and are trying to break through the Ukrainian defenses.
