LG introduces 32-inch UltraGear gaming monitors with up to 4K resolution and up to 260Hz refresh rate

LG Electronics has unveiled two 32-inch UltraGear gaming monitors, the UltraGear 32GQ950 and UltraGear 32GQ850. Both new products are built on IPS Nano matrices with an ATW polarizer to improve color reproduction. The UltraGear 32GQ950 supports 4K UHD (3840 × 2160 pixels), while the UltraGear 32GQ850 supports QHD (2560 × 1440 pixels).

The 4K model UltraGear 32GQ950 supports a refresh rate of 144Hz by default, and you can manually bump it up to 160Hz. The display response time is 1 ms (GtG). The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified and has 98% DCI-P3 color gamut. The UltraGear 32GQ950 is also compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

The novelty is equipped with three HDMI connectors, one DisplayPort and three USB 3.0. The monitor received an ergonomic stand that allows you to adjust the height, tilt and rotation of the screen.

The refresh rate of the UltraGear 32GQ850 is 240Hz by default and 260Hz with manual settings. The response time of the matrix is the same – 1 ms from gray to gray. The model is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified. Support for NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies is announced, as well as compliance with the new VESA AdaptiveSync standard. Claimed 98 coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The monitor also received an ergonomic stand that allows you to change the height, rotation and tilt of the display.

The LG UltraGear 32GQ950 and UltraGear 32GQ850 monitors will ship this month. In Europe, new items will appear in June-July. The manufacturer did not disclose the recommended cost of the monitors.

Previously, the company introduced the flagship model of the UltraGear 48GQ900 monitor based on an OLED matrix with support for 4K resolution and a standard frequency of 120 Hz. It will go on sale at the same time as the 32-inch models.
