Xiaomi introduced 14 and 15.6-inch RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen Edition on Ryzen 6000H processors

Xiaomi introduced the RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen Edition laptop in China, which, as you might guess, will be based on AMD Ryzen processors. The novelty will be released in two versions with different screen sizes – 14 and 15.6 inches. Its specs are similar to the 12th Gen Intel Core-based RedmiBook Pro that went on sale earlier, except for the processors.

The RedmiBook Pro 14 2022 Ryzen Edition is equipped with a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Brightness is 300 cd/ m2 , contrast ratio is 1:1000. The laptop is offered with Ryzen 5 6600H and Ryzen 7 6800H processors, which have six and eight Zen 3+ cores respectively, as well as integrated Radeon 660M and Radeon 680M graphics.

Device specs also include 16GB of LPDDR5 dual-channel RAM and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, 56Whr battery, dual 2W speakers, Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack. The dimensions of the laptop are 315.6 × 220.4 × 15.9 mm, weight – 1.45 kg.

The RedmiBook Pro 14 2022 Ryzen Edition with the Ryzen 5 6600H chip is 5299 yuan (about $797), the model based on the Ryzen 7 6800H will cost 5899 yuan (about $887).

The RedmiBook Pro 15 2022 Ryzen Edition laptop is also offered with Ryzen 5 6600H or Ryzen 7 6800H processors, but unlike the more compact model, a configuration with a discrete GeForce RTX 2050 graphics accelerator is available here. The laptop is equipped with a 15.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 3200 × 2000 dots, 16:10 aspect ratio, operating at up to 90 Hz with a peak brightness of 400 cd/ m2 and a contrast ratio of 1500:1.

The amount of LPDDR5 RAM is 16 GB, the capacity of SSD PCIe 4.0 is 512 GB. The device specs also include Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The model with the Ryzen 5 6600H is priced at 5499 yuan (about $827), with the Ryzen 7 6800H – 6099 yuan (about $917). The model with the Ryzen 5 6600H and the RTX 2050 graphics accelerator is priced at 6699 yuan (about $1007), the version with the Ryzen 7 6800H and the RTX 2050 is priced at 7299 yuan (about $1098).
