Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A32 smartphone. The model is offered to consumers in official Samsung stores and in partner stores at a price of 19 rubles for the version with 990 GB of main memory and 64 rubles for the version with 21 GB of main memory. The choice of smartphones is available to buyers in three colors: black, purple and blue. The smartphone has a 990-inch Super AMOLED screen, a photomodule consisting of four cameras – the main one with 128 MP, a wide-angle one with 6.4 MP, a 64 MP macro lens and a 8 MP ToF camera. A 5 MP front camera is responsible for taking selfies. The model has a capacious 5 mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging. The screen of the smartphone is covered with Gorilla Glass 5000, the fingerprint scanner built into the screen is responsible for unlocking. The Galaxy A15 is powered by a Helio G5 processor with 32GB of RAM, the main memory can be expanded with microSD cards up to 80TB.
Quite a good device that will probably sell well in federal retail. A large AMOLED display, a sub-screen fingerprint scanner, a triple main camera and a nice fresh design that I liked. Yes, the model is equipped with a MediaTek processor, but ordinary people will not pay attention to this, and in general the chipset is quite good.

Redmi for China
The Redmi brand has unveiled its new flagship Redmi K40 in China. With a stated price of $ 310, the smartphone was endowed with incredible characteristics. It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, working with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of main memory. The 6.67-inch AMOLED smartphone screen supports 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch layer sampling rate. The screen offers a maximum brightness of 1300 nits and DCI-P3 and HDR10 + color gamut. The display is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and, according to the manufacturer, it uses one of the smallest camera holes on the market, measuring 2.76 mm in diameter. The smartphone is 7.8 mm thick and weighs 196 grams. The photo module consists of three sensors: the main one with 50 MP, a telephoto lens with 5 MP and an ultra-wide-angle camera with 8 MP. The front camera of the smartphone is a 20 MP sensor. The Redmi K40 has a fingerprint sensor on the side of the case, it has NFC Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, it supports Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, Hi-Res Audio Wireless. The smartphone is powered by a 4 520 mAh battery supporting 33 W fast charging.
And also two senior models in the Redmi K40 line of smartphones were presented – K40 Pro and K40 Pro +. By their design, they repeat the younger model Redmi K40, but they have more powerful filling and photo modules. Both smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and are offered in 12GB for the Pro + version and 8GB and 6GB for the Pro version. The 6.67-inch screen of smartphones is made using AMOLED technology, provides a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch layer sampling rate of 360 Hz. The smartphone is powered by a 4520 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging. Both new items support Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless, Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E. They have an NFC sensor. The models differ in their photo modules: the Pro + version uses a 108 MP sensor as the main module, and the Pro version – 64 MP, they also have a 5 MP telephoto lens and an 8 MP ultra wide-angle camera. The front camera in both versions is used at 20 MP. The smartphones will be available in black, white and blue. The cost of the Pro version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of main memory is announced at $ 434, the Pro + version will cost $ 573.
The devices look very attractive, especially at prices in China. We are waiting for the global presentation of the products, if I don’t confuse it, it will take place on March 4, and outside China the series will be called Redmi Note 10.

Ioniq 5 officially presented
Hyundai has unveiled the Ioniq 5 midsize electric crossover with a range of 480 km according to the World Harmonized Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) classification. The car, due to go on sale in the first half of 2021, will be the brand’s first vehicle built on the new Hyundai Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which will be used to launch several electric vehicles under the Hyundai and Kia brands.
The electric car will be supplied in two versions – with a 58 kWh battery and a 72.6 kWh battery. According to the manufacturer, when using 350 kW DC fast charging, the machine will charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. And just one five-minute charge of the IONIQ 5 is enough for 100 km of travel according to WLTP standards. The Ioniq 5 is the first electric car to support 800 volt charging. The car also implements the reverse charging functionality – the car is capable of supporting the operation of devices designed for power supply from household electrical networks, and ensuring the operability of devices with a power of up to 3.6 kW – this can be, for example, electric grills, various mains power tools or large audio speakers. There will also be an option with one electric motor on the rear axle and two electric motors on both. Hyundai has not yet disclosed the cost of the new crossover, but it is expected to range in price from $ 30 to $ 000.
Despite the fact that the electric car looks like some kind of “golf”, it is a full-fledged crossover, and its designers were inspired by the first production car of the brand – Hyundai Pony. Supporting 350 kW of charging in an electric vehicle is impressive, in just 18 minutes, and you already have a nearly fully charged battery. The only problem is that in Russia there is still a great rarity of 120 kW EZS, and one can only dream of the appearance and, most importantly, widespread distribution of more powerful charging stations. But let’s see if, when Hyundai officially brings the Ioniq to us, they will also deliver their fast EZS at least in the largest cities of our country.
Folding smartphone from Huawei
The Chinese company Huawei has announced its new foldable flagship smartphone Huawei Mate X2, made in the corporate design “falcon wing”. The smartphone is equipped with a 4-module 50MP Ultra Vision camera from Leica, a powerful stereo system with two speakers and a high-performance Kirin 9000 5G processor. The seamless foldable design of the Huawei Mate X2 provides precise folding, compactness and easy interaction with the device in any position. The 8-inch internal screen of the Huawei Mate X2 has a magnetically controlled optical nanolayer that minimizes reflections. The main screen is complemented by an external 6,45-inch OLED screen. Both screens feature ultra-high resolution, high sensor sampling rates and 90Hz refresh rates. The new Huawei Mate X2 has a 4500 mAh battery and supports 55W Huawei SuperCharge. The device will hit stores starting February 25, 2021 for a suggested retail price of 17 yuan (about $ 999) for the 2785GB version and 256 yuan (about $ 18) for the 999GB version.
It is strange that the Chinese developers did not immediately understand that the display should be bent inward, and not outward, as was the case with the first Mate X. In the new Mate X2, everything is done correctly, only Huawei now has a copy of the Fold 2. At a price of almost 3 dollars, without Google services the device will not be in demand outside of China, given the fact that a similar product from Samsung has been available for sale for a long time, which is also cheaper.

New C-class introduced
German automaker Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the fifth generation of its popular C-Class sedan. The novelty has adopted a lot from the flagship S-Class sedan of the latest generation, this applies to the design elements of the exterior and interior, as well as equipment, in particular, the C-Class is now equipped with the second generation of the MBUX system.
As an option for the novelty, a fully steerable chassis will be available, which allows to reduce the turning radius and helps when changing lanes at speed. Also, the new C-class will receive a hybrid version with an increased battery and the ability to travel up to 100 km only on electric traction, however, it is doubtful that such a version will be brought to Russia. Mercedes voice assistant is now able to control some smart home devices, and access to the MBUX system will be available via a fingerprint.
As for the second generation MBUX, visually, in the new C-class, it corresponds to the manufacturer’s flagship, with a virtual dashboard, as in the previous generation, and a new main touchscreen, shifted down, to which the climate control has also been moved. Optionally, the car can be equipped with a color head-up display and a video system with augmented reality. In the MBUX system itself, it will be possible to purchase applications, for example, for streaming music playback or working with office documents. And also the novelty allows you to retrofit the car with adaptive cruise control, which recognizes more traffic situations, a road sign reading system that sees even those that are above the road, as well as a lane keeping system that uses all-round cameras.
The novelty should arrive in Russia in the second quarter of this year.
