Twitter accounts of famous personalities and large companies were attacked on Wednesday. Unknown hackers posted messages of the same type with an offer to earn bitcoins. According to the publication Protocol, in a few hours more than 300 transfers worth more than $ 110 in dollar terms were received on the bitcoin wallets indicated by the hackers. Of course, human stupidity and naivety are surprising, and after all, if Twitter had not closed the loophole and cleaned up the messages, then hackers would have earned even more.

Spotify in Russia

The main news of the week is, of course, the long-awaited official launch of the Spotify audio streaming service in Russia. Moreover, the service from Sweden came to us with very tasty prices and can seriously compete not only with world analogues, but also with local players. Spotify Premium gives you access to the full service package for RUB 169 per month. Spotify Premium for a family, which costs 269 rubles per month, can connect up to 6 people. The new Spotify Premium plan for two (219 rubles per month), in addition to the capabilities of a standard premium account, offers Mix for Two, an automatically updated playlist that combines music that will both please. Spotify Premium for Students is available for $ 85 per month, and all users receive a 3-month free trial of Premium.

The service has already launched an active promotional campaign in Russia, its ads are circulating not only on the Internet, but also on banners in the city. It is noteworthy that the launch of Spotify made local players move too, for example, VKontakte announced that it would provide all new users with three-month access to Music for 1 ruble, and students were given a 50% discount. Yandex began to give new users 45 days of free access to the Yandex.Plus subscription, which also includes the Yandex.Music music service. • OPPO 50W mini SuperVOOC is a 50W device with a thickness of only 10.5mm. OPPO engineers managed to reduce the size of large elements and make the case as compact as possible.
• OPPO 110W mini – The OPPO 110W charger is designed without an electrolytic capacitor and uses high frequency switching power supply technology. The dimensions of the charger do not differ from the standard 18W adapter.

The ability to charge your smartphone in just 20 minutes is, of course, a dream and completely changes the experience of interacting with a device. But I am tormented by one question: how long will the battery life last with constant use of ultra-fast charging? Will it not turn out that after six months we will have to change the battery in the device, because if we can charge the smartphone very quickly, we will be able to use it more and more actively, which means that the number of charging cycles will increase.

New Xiaomi devices

On July 15, the Chinese company Xiaomi held a global presentation of its new products. So, a fitness bracelet Mi Smart Band 5 was presented with a larger screen than its predecessor, a new format for connecting a charger and other chips; it was estimated at 39.99 euros in the European market. They did not say about the version of the bracelet with NFC at the presentation, but taking into account the fact that the Mi Smart Band 4 NFC version has recently been successfully launched in our market, with a high degree of probability, the fifth version of the device with the possibility of contactless payment will come to us.

Xiaomi also introduced fully wireless headphones Mi True Wireless Earphone 2 Basic, this is such a copy of Apple AirPods, only they cost 39.99 euros, and, according to the Chinese manufacturer, surpass the original. By the way, the headphones have already officially arrived in Russia and are being sold here for 2 rubles. New electric scooters Mi Electric Scooter Pro 990 and Mi Electric Scooter 2S were shown, which are capable of traveling 1 and 45 km on a single charge, respectively, and the maximum speed in both cases reaches 30 km / h. The cost of electric scooters in Europe will be 25 and 499 euros. The first generation of the Mi Electric Scooter Pro scooter costs 399 rubles on our market at the official retail, in theory, with the arrival of the second version, it should become cheaper, and the novelty will take its place.

New Huawei routers

Huawei has presented two models of Huawei WiFi AX3 home routers with WiFi 6 Plus in Russia. As the manufacturer notes, in comparison with WiFi 5, the new standard gives an additional increase in speed by optimizing the interaction between the router and Huawei devices at the processor level.

The Huawei WiFi AX3 series of routers includes two models: with 4-core and 2-core Gigahome processors with a clock frequency of 1.4 and 1.2 GHz, respectively. Both models support data rates up to 2976 Mbps (574 Mbps at 2,4 GHz and 2402 Mbps at 5 GHz). The older model has 256 MB of RAM and 128 MB of built-in storage, the younger has 128 MB of RAM and storage.

The older model of the WiFi AX3 series supports Huawei Share technology, which allows Huawei devices to connect by touching an NFC tag. In addition, the more powerful processor of the older version supports Huawei HomeSec data protection technology. An independent security zone (trusted TEE runtime) is built directly into the processor, and TrustZone is implemented at the microkernel level. In addition to proprietary dynamic narrowband technology, the 4-core version of Huawei WiFi AX3 received four independent signal amplifiers, which allows users to create distributed mesh networks from multiple routers.

The price of Huawei WiFi AX3 will be 3 490 rubles for the younger version and 4 990 rubles for the older one. The start of sales is scheduled for early August.

Vivo X50 in Russia

The Chinese manufacturer Vivo has announced in Russia two of its new smartphones Vivo X50 and X50 Pro. The models are built on Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 and 765G processors, respectively, equipped with 8 GB of RAM, and a permanent 128 and 256 GB. Both models feature a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with FHD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The Pro smartphone is equipped with an advanced dual-gimbal camera with 48-axis stabilization, which, in theory, should provide clear photos and smooth videos. It is also worth noting the presence of a tracking autofocus for video recording, which can re-catch the subject, even if it is lost from sight. In the younger model, the camera is simpler, with conventional optical stabilization and four modules, the main one at 4200 MP. The smartphones have 4315 and 2.0 mAh batteries, Vivo FlashCharge 33 fast wired charging with a XNUMX W power supply is supported.

Sales of the younger model will start on July 24 at a price of 44 rubles, and the Vivo X990 Pro will be on sale on July 50st for 31 rubles. For pre-order, the manufacturer gives completely wireless Vivo TWS Neo headphones worth 64 rubles.

On paper, everything looks interesting, but how good the new Vivo smartphones will be will have to be looked at. True, I don’t really believe in the success of the Vivo X50 Pro, in Russia there are not so many daredevils who will be ready to pay 65 rubles for this smartphone, while most buyers would rather pay attention to the products of more famous brands.

Nissan introduced an electric crossover

Japanese automaker Nissan has unveiled its first production all-electric crossover, the Nissan Ariya. There will be several versions of the electric vehicle with front and all-wheel drive to choose from, with a battery of 63 kWh or 87 kWh, in both cases fast charging from sources with a capacity of up to 130 kW will be supported. The maximum declared cruising range from a single charge is 500 km, as the front-wheel drive version with an 87kWh battery can drive. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in the top version of the crossover will take 5.1 seconds. Prices for the Nissan Ariya will start at 40 euros, for this money you will get a car with a 000 kWh battery, front-wheel drive, a range of up to 63 km and an acceleration of 360 seconds to 7.5 km / h.

The electric crossover will be equipped with an advanced ProPILOT driver assistant, which will allow the car to move almost autonomously, and information will be taken not only from sensors and cameras, but also from the car’s navigation system. Interconnection with navigation will allow you to effectively regulate the speed of movement taking into account the restrictions, as well as change the speed depending on the traffic situation along the course of movement, for example, smoothly slowing down the car before a sharp turn.

Judging by the interior photos, Nissan invented its own MBUX system, only if Mercedes-Benz split the screen in the second version of its system, the Japanese, on the contrary, combined the displays. Overall, it looks good and hopefully the system will work as well as the original MBUX.

Hyundai Solaris leads in residual value preservation

The Hyundai Solaris sedan has become the leader in its segment in the rating of the safety residual value of cars according to the results of a report prepared by the Russian Automotive Market Research (NAPI) marketing agency. The expert study included an analysis of the loss of value and residual value of the TOP-150 models of passenger cars up to 10 years old of the current model range.

According to Russian Automotive Market Research, Hyundai Solaris outpaced its closest competitors in the B-class in two respects at once. After 3 years of operation, the residual value of the model is 76.7%, with a margin of 3.2 percentage points from the second place. After 5 years of ownership, Hyundai Solaris also retains the first position in the ranking with a result of 60.6% of the original price.

Now you know which budget sedan is worth taking to lose the minimum on resale on the secondary market. But, of course, many factors affect the price, and it is not a fact that after three years of owning Hyundai Solaris, you will be able to sell it for good money.
