Internet sources report that the South Korean giant Samsung is working on a new Exynos processor for mobile devices: the product under development is currently listed under the code S5E5515.

Unfortunately, the characteristics of the chip have not yet been disclosed. But it is known that the solution will be targeted at mid-range smartphones. Most likely, the processor will include a modem with support for mobile communications of the fifth generation (5G).
The current Exynos chip family is as follows:
- S5E3830 – Exynos 850;
- S5E5515 -?
- S5E9630 – Exynos 980 (Galaxy A51 5G, A71 5G);
- S5E9815 – Exynos 1080 (Vivo X60);
- S5E9820 – Exynos 9820 (Galaxy S10);
- S5E9830 – Exynos 990 (Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20);
- S5E9840 – Exynos 2100 (Galaxy S21).

Thus, the future processor may take an intermediate position between the Exynos 850 and the Exynos 980. It is said that the development of the product will take more than one month. The first smartphones based on it may debut by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, in June, Samsung is expected to hold a presentation dedicated to Exynos mobile processors with powerful AMD graphics. One of the first devices on this platform may be a laptop running Windows 10. The announcement of the laptop will take place before the end of 2021.
