Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Batman in The Flash opposite Ezra Miller. This was announced by DC Films President Walter Hamada in an interview with the New York Times.
Presumably, the Flash solo will travel back in time, creating an alternate universe with another Batman. The first Batman will be Robert Pattinson, his debut in this role is expected in 2022, and the second will be Keaton. Most likely, Ben Affleck this time will be out of work. At least that’s what Brooks Barnes, who interviewed Walter Hamada, hinted at.
Keaton played the role of Batman in the 1989 film starring Jack Nicholson and Kim Basinger. Michael Keaton also played Bruce Wayne in the 1992 film Batman Returns by Tim Burton.
