The head of Marvel Studios has shared plans for future projects of the cinematic universe

American producer and head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, held an online conference with reporters about the upcoming release of Wanda / Vision, which is scheduled for release on January 15th.

According to him, Marvel may return to the sitcom format if this step is meaningful, as was the case with the project “Wanda / Vision”, which will continue after the events of the movie “Avengers: Endgame”.

Feige also said that in the future, characters from the closed superhero Netflix series, including Daredevil and Jessica Jones, may appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The producer stressed that some rumors about Spider-Man 3 may be true. In particular, characters from past Spider-Man films with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are expected to appear.

But the return of Black Panther, whose role was played by the late Chadwick Boseman, using computer graphics in the sequel should not be expected. According to the head of Marvel Studios, the studio is also not going to look for a similar actor for the role of a superhero.

The upcoming film will explore T’Challa’s closest acquaintances and the world they inhabit. It is noted that the sequel to “Black Panther” will be dedicated to the fictional African state of Wakanda as a cultural phenomenon. But T’Challa can only be shown in a suit and mask.

And the last thing the head of Marvel Studios told about is “Black Widow”. He is not sure if the film will premiere in May 2021. According to him, everything will depend on the situation with the coronavirus pandemic.

By the way, in an interview with Collider, Kevin Feige said that we should not expect the start of filming for the third part of “Deadpool” in 2021. The reason for this was not only the pandemic, but also the busy schedule of Ryan Reynolds – the leading actor.

Feige has confirmed that Deadpool 3 will be part of the MCU and will be released with a high R-rating (17+). We will remind, in November 2020 it became known that the studio hired sisters Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin to write the script for the film “Deadpool 3”.
