Koei Tecmo publishers in their official microblog published an appeal from the Omega Force development studio regarding the forced transfer of Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires.
It is worth noting that Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires has never had a specific release date, but until recently the premiere of a strategic action game was expected at the beginning of this year.
In the meantime, two full months have passed since the start of 2021, and until now nothing has been heard about specifying the timing of the release of Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires. And now it became clear why.
As the developers admitted, the production pace of Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires was not so fast to ensure the release of the game in the previously indicated time frame.
In this regard, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force were forced to postpone the launch of Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires indefinitely. When to wait for information about the release of the game, the team did not specify.
As compensation for the transfer, the developers posted the first frame from the opening video of Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires (attached above). The image allows you to imagine what awaits the players at the release.
Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires is being created for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. Instead of an open world, the project will focus on strategic elements, including command of squads.
