The daily growth of the cryptocurrency was more than 8%, and the peak value at the moment reached $ 54,3 thousand. However, this figure is far from the record of $ 58 thousand, which was registered on February 22nd.

In a conversation with Bloomberg, experts noted that the current surge in interest in bitcoin is very different from the bubble of 2017. Goldman Sachs believes that cryptocurrency is gaining popularity among organizations. Evercore ISI strategist Rich Ross believes that bitcoin is now in a “strong position”, and its price can reach $ 75 thousand per token.

This is the second time that cryptocurrency capitalization has exceeded $ 1 trillion. Last time it happened on February 19 – then the cost of bitcoin crossed the mark of $ 55 thousand. In comparison, the holding company Alphabet (which owns Google) is worth $ 1,36 trillion.
