SCS Software has announced the development of the Heart of Russia add-on to Euro Truck Simulator 2. Players will be able to transport cargo to Moscow and nearby cities to the east of it. The developer is not yet ready to cover the whole of Russia.
Earlier in Euro Truck Simulator 2, the Beyond the Baltic Sea update has already been released, which includes St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad. Now SCS Software intends to include the territory up to the Oka.
The company has warned that the development of the add-on is still at a very early stage, so the exact release date will be announced later. Apparently, Heart of Russia will have to wait for more than a year, as part of the team is still completing another DLC – Iberia.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 was released on October 18, 2012 for PC, but continues to expand to this day. Over the years, SCS Software has released 72 add-ons with map expansions, truck skins, trailers and cargo. The game is only available on PC.
