Russian motorists will be followed every 15 minutes

According to the draft data sheet for Avtodat, the automaker is obliged to collect data on the location of the vehicle, as well as information on the dynamics of movement, once a minute. Every half an hour, he must receive information about the state of headlights and side lights, a slowly moving car, road works, reduced visibility, obstacles on the road, as well as signs of driver fatigue.

As a result, car manufacturers must transmit all data to Avtodata with a frequency of at least 15 minutes. The message must contain the VIN number of the vehicle, its category and environmental class, as well as the estimated carrying capacity.

The experts noted that the transfer of such a volume of data will require very serious investments from the side of automakers, and the costs can be passed on to the buyer.
