Portal The Tojo Dojo, citing an anonymous informant, said that the detective action Judgment from Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku developer studio will receive a sequel.
It all started when Gematsu reporters drew attention to the registration of several trademarks in Japan at once, including something called Lost Judgment from Sega.
It is worth noting that in Japan, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s creation is known not as Judgment, but as Judge Eyes. According to the informant The Tojo Dojo, Lost Judgment is one of two potential sequel titles alongside Judgment: Seize The Truth.
The sequel to Judgment will supposedly be darker and dedicated to the adventures of a friend from the first part of the detective Takayuki Yagami, who “Did not slay all of my demons”, with partner Masahira Kaito.
In addition to the two listed characters from the original Judgment, several more will return to the sequel: in The Tojo Dojo we heard about three such characters, one of which played a minor role in the first part.
The Tojo Dojo reporters checked the data provided by the source and received sufficient evidence of their veracity in order to confidently share the information obtained.
Judgment was released in June 2019 (world release) on PS4, and in the remaster format on April 23 of this year it will appear on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and in the Google Stadia cloud service.
