For the experiment, tempered glass and a special slingshot were used to launch the iPhone 12 Pro Max. In total, 10 glasses were used in the installation.
The test involved a new smartphone without any damage. It was installed in a slingshot, ready to launch, and cut with scissors holding the rubber bands. The iPhone took off sharply forward and broke only two glasses out of ten.
The most surprising thing about this test is that on the smartphone itself, there is absolutely no damage left on the front panel. Then the device was started again. And it broke two glasses again. Even after that, the iPhone remained in good shape.
On the third attempt, none of the glass shattered. But the iPhone itself crashed. The back panel looked especially bad.
