If you forget, then the 4th quarter of 2020 turned out to be super successful for Xiaomi, and the company became the 3rd smartphone manufacturer in the world after Apple and Samsung. Given that the pandemic year itself has not been an easy one, this is indeed a significant achievement.
In the wake of success, the idea was voiced that Xiaomi is actively moving into the premium segment and only in 2020 presented 5 flagship-level smartphones.
Along the way, the company shared an interesting figure about the Mi 11, released at the end of December. One million smartphones sold in 21 days. From the point of view of Samsung or Apple, this is not enough, but for Xiaomi it is a success. The result is definitely more successful than OnePlus.
A million Mi 11 in 21 days is not bad, so Xiaomi decided to continue churning out flagships and introduced the Mi 11 Pro.
By the way, the presentation was built in a slightly unusual way. For example, talking about the battery of a new smartphone, the presenter distracted himself and presented new chargers, and speaking about Wi-Fi 6, he announced a router. Cool solution. The performance looked logical and natural.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and wireless charging for everything at once
The Pro version has essentially three main differences. Firstly, there is protection against water according to the IP68 standard. And rightly so, it’s high time. Xiaomi, in joy at the presentation, immediately drowned some girl for the sake of a successful shot.
New photo module 50 MP, f / 2.0, 123 degrees, 1 / 1.12 ″, 1.4μm, Dual Pixel PDAF, Laser AF, OIS. The main feature is the giant size of the sensor. Accordingly, more light means better night photography. Pixels will be pixel binning on a 4-in-1 basis. Thus, the size of the combined pixel will be 2.8 microns. In this case, the “collapse” will be based on the new Dual Pixel Pro technology (see the picture below). Plus, there is also a 5x optical zoom.

The second highlight is super fast wired and wireless charging. Power 67 W, that is, 100% in 36 minutes. Xiaomi made a special emphasis, showing that the smartphone charges equally quickly and so and so.
Along the way, the company introduced several wired (120 W) and wireless (80 W) chargers. Of particular interest is the charging mat, which Apple wanted to make at one time, but did not succeed.
You can charge anything and how you want, since Xiaomi literally stuffed the mat with wireless chargers (19 pieces). It looks monstrous, raises questions, but I really want to try. The price in China is 599 yuan, that is, about 7 thousand rubles.
The price of Mi 11 Pro in China is 1 yuan more than just Mi 000. And what will happen in Russia, time will tell.
Well, before writing the characteristics, we must present the latest marketing miracle from Xiaomi. I have met this characteristic before, but the first time I saw it at a presentation, as they say, live. You can buy a beautiful case and a curved protective film on the screen for your smartphone, which are ANTIBACTERIAL!
I did not understand this moment. In the photo there are special leather covers, whether they are antibacterial or not, it is not clear.

I saw, of course, all the leaks and teasers, but still impressed Xiaomi. The second 1.1-inch AMOLED screen for selfies is, of course, game. But the game is correct, funny and very much in the spirit of Xiaomi (I am waiting for a comment on the topic that, in fact, the first was not Xiaomi, but …). The second screen can duplicate the main one, and you can also display time and notifications there.
Cameras are, of course, also a wow factor. All three lenses can shoot 8K 24 frames per second. By the way, it’s interesting that although the screen supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision video still remains the prerogative of the iPhone. However, there is an analogue in the form of shooting in HDR10 +. Also note that the camera is capable of shooting super slow-mo in Full HD.
Either a shot about IP68 protection from water, or the drooling of fans and haters discussing the price of 107 rubles.
Xiaomi said it has crushed all competitors in the Dxomark rankings. She just bent down and crushed me mercilessly. The story told at the presentation: and the company’s engineers say that, they say, we need to run more tests and finish the software before the release, and the managers are like “no, 143 points and so very cool, let’s show and sell as soon as possible.”

The main differences are a slightly worse quality screen with a lower resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels), a fingerprint scanner not under the screen, but on the side (but the body is slightly thinner), charging 33 W, not 55 W. Of course, there is no protection against water.
Mi 11 Lite 5G and Mi 11 Lite are representatives of budget flagships for young people. Screen size – 6.5 inches, as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G chipset with 5 nm technology (hot and promising new product!). Beautiful bright smartphones.

The new version of the most popular fitness bracelets turned out to be more evolutionary than revolutionary. The main visual difference is the full-size screen that occupies the entire surface.
The screen size is 1.56 inches and the dot density is 326 ppi. The Mi Band 5, by comparison, is 1.1 inches.
Users are waiting for such updates to the “Health” section as SpO2 (oxygen) measurement, heart rate monitoring, advanced sleep tracking functions. The bracelet supports twice as many different workouts as before.
