Russians were told a way to remove their data from Google

Rossiyskaya Gazeta talked to the expert. He said that a user can contact Google through a special form and ask to delete information about himself. You can, for example, remove personal information, addresses or candid photos from the network. The information will be removed from Google Search, but the content will remain on the site itself. Then you should contact his webmaster. If he refuses to delete the data, then you can go to court.

By law, Russians have the right to delete about themselves:

  1. information disseminated in violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation (for example, insults);
  2. inaccurate information;
  3. irrelevant information;
  4. information that has lost its meaning for the applicant due to subsequent events or actions of the applicant.
