The company MINISFORUM, specializing in the production of low-cost mini-PCs, has announced the GK50 nettop, made on the Intel Gemini Lake Refresh hardware platform.
A Pentium Silver N5030 processor with four computational cores without multithreading support is used. The base clock speed is 1,1 GHz, the maximum is 3,1 GHz. The chip includes Intel 605 UHD graphics.
The novelty is made in a case with dimensions of only 125 × 113 × 30 mm. The volume of LPDDR4 RAM is 8 GB, the capacity of the M.2 2280 solid-state module is 128 GB.
It is possible to install a 2,5-inch drive. The equipment includes adapters for wireless communication Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0. There is also a dual-port Gigabit Ethernet controller.
The front panel has four USB 3.0 ports. On the side are headphone and microphone jacks, as well as a microSD card slot. At the back you can find HDMI, DisplayPort and network cable jacks.
