Shoigu explained that the lineup will include heavy robots, scouts, radiation and chemical reconnaissance robots, surface and underwater robots.
The chief of the General Staff of the Ground Forces, Vasily Tonkoshkurov, also said that the first division of combat robots would soon be created. It will include 20 Uran-9 vehicles. Such robots are still serving in small numbers.
The expert told Izvestia that Russia today is one of three countries, along with the United States and China, which is able to provide navigation of strategic drones using space communications. In general, the country has a big backlog in the production of military robots.
