ASUS has introduced the Strix XG27UQR gaming-grade monitor to the ROG product family, built on a high-quality 27-inch IPS matrix.
The panel corresponds to the 4K format: the resolution is 3840 × 2160 pixels. Support for HDR10 and G-SYNC is implemented, and the declared coverage of the DCI-P3 color space reaches 90%.
The novelty has received Display Stream Compression (DSC) technology, designed for data compression. It serves to transmit video content in UHD format over one cable without significant loss in image quality, and with support for a variable refresh rate. In this case, the refresh rate reaches 144 Hz.
Maximum brightness is 400 cd / mXNUMX2, contrast ratio – 1000: 1. The matrix response time is 1 ms (MPRT). Viewing angles horizontally and vertically – up to 178 degrees.
The set of connectors includes two DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 interfaces, as well as a standard audio jack. With the stand, you can adjust the height, tilt and rotation of the screen.
Among other things worth mentioning are TÜV Flicker-free and TÜV Low Blue Light technologies to reduce eye strain, a set of proprietary GamePlus gaming tools and ASUS Aura Sync lighting.
