Team17 published on its official website Sheltered 2 – the continuation of the survival simulator from the British studio Ubicube, the events of which unfold in a post-apocalyptic setting.

Unlike the first part, Sheltered 2 is announced for PC only. The Steam page is already active and contains basic information about the project, as well as illustrative material: the debut trailer and screenshots.

Sheltered 2 will go on sale before the end of this year. Moreover, Team17 and Ubicube assure that the release is just around the corner: as the release date in the Valve service, the game has only “soon”.

In Sheltered 2, players will have to lead the community of survivors: develop it, monitor the consumption of resources, and resist threats of both natural and human nature.

A novelty for fans of the original Sheltered, the sequel will have permanent death: in the event of the death of the leader (from hunger, suffocation, extreme temperatures or combat injuries), the passage will have to start over.

Another innovation will be the mechanics of factions: users will be able to send squads on expeditions to establish communication or incite hatred with other factions.

Among other things, Sheltered 2 promises an expanded combat system, the ability to individualize each survivor of his community and repair vehicles (from bicycles to pickups).
