Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku have released a special trailer for the launch of Judgment versions for the Google Stadia cloud service and PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S. The project has lost its PS4 exclusive status and on the listed platforms can offer 60 fps, faster downloads and all additional content already released in the kit.
The cost of the reissue of Judgment is $ 39,99 (in the Russian PS Store – 2849 ₽). Unlike the digital edition, retail will not go on sale everywhere – only in the West (PS5, Xbox Series X and S) and in Asia, including Japan (PS5). Sega did not provide PS4 Judgment owners with the option to upgrade to PS5 or transfer saves.
Judgment is an action-packed action game that puts players in the shoes of Takayuki Yagami, a disgraced lawyer turned harsh private detective. He must uncover the secret of a terrible series of murders. Together with his former yakuza partner Masaharu Kaito, Yagami pushes his way through Kamuro-cho’s secret criminal network to uncover the truth – however painful it may be.
The events of Judgment take place in the same world as the games of the Yakuza series, and the game itself has a lot of recognizable features. There are street fights, side missions with locals, and comedy mini-activities. But Judgment focuses on tracking suspects and collecting evidence.
The PS4 version of Judgment debuted in Japan back in December 2018, while the global launch took place in June 2019. In anticipation of the release of the international version, Sega had to hastily change the appearance of one of the characters.
