The Nikkei Asian Review, citing its own informed sources, stated that TSMC has already begun production of new SoCs for the apple corporation. The solution will be based on an advanced 5-nm process technology called N5P.
Apple is expected to receive the new chips as early as July 2021. This means that the production of new MacBooks based on it may begin at about the same time.
We will remind that earlier in the network there were rumors that the Cupertinians will present a brand new MacBook Pro 14 “and 16” in the fall. Experts have predicted that the devices will return traditional USB connectors and a MagSafe port for charging.
