Tom Newton Dunn, the Times Radio presenter, will host a news programme, while Kate McCann is joining the channel as political editor from Sky News.
TalkTV will also be broadcast on radio using News UK’s TalkRadio station, while live feeds of the radio station’s shows led by Julia Hartley-Brewer, Mike Graham and Jeremy Kyle will be shown on the fledgling TV station.
Scott Taunton, TalkTV’s broadcasting chief, said: “TalkTV will be a new voice for viewers who are interested in straight talking opinions and expert insight on news and current affairs.
“We have a roster of new talent who will bring compelling new shows to the screen every weekday evening, alongside journalists from across News UK who have expertise in every genre.
“Our existing professional talent on TalkRadio already have their own followings and we will be bringing these popular and informed discussions about news and current affairs to a wider audience.”
Mr Morgan joined forces with the media mogul shortly after walking off the Good Morning Britain set, saying he did not believe the Duchess of Sussex when she said she had suicidal thoughts in her US television interview with Oprah Winfrey.
He has been handed a wide-ranging deal with News Corp, the owner of News UK, which includes a column in the Sun and New York Post, a book deal with HarperCollins and contributions to Fox News.
It means he is rejoining the Murdoch fold 26 years after he vacated the editor’s chair at the News of the World.
Mr Murdoch then reportedly said of Mr Morgan that “the young man went over the top” by invading the privacy of Victoria Lockwood, then the wife of Earl Spencer.
