Now, opening a bag with a folded Airwheel E3 bike, I understand that the same story is happening with electric bikes – the range is growing, prices are becoming more pleasant, a variety of models appear for every taste and for any task.

Design

Peculiarities

There is not a word about some features in the technical specifications. Firstly, Panasonic batteries are used, which is good from the point of view of continuous use, in real life the batteries perform well – they hold a charge, as stated, and charge relatively quickly.

Secondly, there is recuperation, when braking the battery is charged, but there is one caveat, with a very long descent, the battery may be recharged – the advice is simple, if the descent is steep and long, disconnect the battery.

The third point, the charging time from the bundled PSU is about three hours, about the same time that modern wireless headphones are charged. Finally, the brakes here are electric, you press the button, the bike stops. We strongly advise you to first practice on a desert track in acceleration and deceleration – nothing complicated, the habit comes instantly.

Tons of features! With the help of the Airwheel E3, our friend rode about 15 kilometers quite normally, he weighs about seventy kilograms, he drove on asphalt, mostly on a flat road.

You can count on the same distance – if the specified parameters are observed. The declared mileage from a single charge is about 30 kilometers, I assume that children will succeed in such a trick, for example, you can hit the road from the dacha to the store for lemonade, go back and then make circles around the house.

Use cases

It is quite logical to imagine our bike as a kind of “jumping tool”, respectively, it is worth choosing usage scenarios. For boys and girls, this is an ideal toy for country conditions, when you can safely and quietly roll around the neighborhood with maximum convenience – the seat was developed by very smart people, thank you. Ride, saw that the battery sits down, came home for a pit stop.

For the driver in the summer, this is a means to bypass the traffic jam or arrange a break for himself; parked, unfolded the bike, rode along the beautiful embankment, drove back, folded the bike, left. You can go around traffic jams, but here, of course, it would be nice to know the route, what ups and downs are coming there.
