The junior ice hockey team of Ukraine (U-18) won the second victory at the World Championship in Division 1B, which takes place in Italy.
The Blue-Yellows started the tournament brilliantly, destroying the Polish team in their opening match with a score of 6:1. And in the second confrontation, our team met with the hosts of the competition – the Italians.
The match ended with a crushing victory of Ukrainian hockey players with a score of 6:3 .
The beginning of the meeting was unsuccessful for the Ukrainians – the hosts hit the gates of our team twice. However, even before the end of the first period, the Blue-Yellows won back one missed goal.
At the beginning of the second period, the Italians again increased their lead to two goals. And yet, the second period was a turning point in this meeting – the Ukrainians answered with their 4 goals, which put the Italian team in a difficult position.
In the final period, Ukraine scored another goal and put an end to this fight.
