The European Commission has proposed abolishing import duties on Ukrainian exports to the European Union for one year.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on Twitter.
“The European Commission proposed today to abolish import duties for one year on all Ukrainian exports to the EU. I am grateful to the European Commission and the Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis for this unprecedented gesture of support for Ukraine in the war. This step will help Ukrainian producers and exporters during the Russian aggression,” the head of government said.
