When there is no deep fryer at hand, but you really want to cook your favorite side dish, you can try to do without it.
French fries do not even require cutlery. You can eat it just with your hands, complementing and ennobling the taste with your favorite sauces, which are always in the refrigerator.
Ingredients:
- potato
- vegetable oil
- salt

Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes 0.5-0.7 cm thick, pour cold water for 1-1.5 hours, then rinse and dry thoroughly with paper towels.
Heat a sufficient amount of vegetable oil in a deep saucepan, dip a portion of potatoes into it so that it floats freely, and fry over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
Remove the cooked potatoes from the saucepan with a slotted spoon and put on napkins to remove excess fat.
Salt before serving.
On a note
Serve french fries as a side dish for meat and fish dishes or as an independent dish with dips: mayonnaise , ketchup, cheese or any other sauce.
In order for the potato cubes to be the same and fried evenly and simultaneously, choose sufficiently large tubers and preferably of the correct oval shape.
Fry French fries in small batches.
Ready-made french fries, if desired, can be flavored with dried garlic, ground peppers, paprika or other dry seasonings.
