In Ukraine, monuments to the Soviet army continue to be massively demolished.
In Lutsk, they began to dismantle Soviet symbols at the memorial of Eternal Glory. The start date of World War II will also be corrected there.
This was announced by the mayor of Lutsk Igor Polishchuk.
“The dismantling of Soviet and Ukrainian-hateful symbols at the Memorial of Eternal Glory has begun. After the dismantling, all landscaping will be restored as soon as possible,” Polishchuk wrote.
He added that there would also be a change in the start date of World War II.
“The contractor undertook to install the numbers from 1939 instead of 1941 by May 1,” he said.
Recall that the mayor of Novomoskovsk agrees to rename the city, but on one condition.
