The Rostec State Corporation announced that the announcement of a new generation AYYA smartphone with a system of protection against unauthorized access to the owner’s data is scheduled for the current year.

The current AYYA T1 ruggedized device went on sale in October 2021. It is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P70 processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB drive. Android 11 or Aurora OS is used as a software platform. Alas, this smartphone did not become popular even during the crisis: only a few hundred devices were sold during the first quarter.
The new smartphone, as noted, will have modern user characteristics, while the cost of the device will be significantly lower than the current one. Information security is ensured by hardware shutdown of the camera and microphone.
