The Russian army hit Avdiivka, Donetsk region, twice with phosphorus shells.

According to him, as a result of enemy shelling, several fires ignited in the city. In addition, following the second shelling, the Russians launched an air strike on Avdiivka: they hit a high-rise building. At least one person is known to have been injured.
Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed an attempt to break through the Russian troops in this direction, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military District said.
As reported, in the direction of Donetsk , enemy units are active along almost the entire line of confrontation. The main efforts of the enemy are concentrated on conducting offensive operations in the Severodonetsk, Popasnyansk and Kurakhovsky directions with the aim of taking Popasnoye, Rubizhnoye under full control and developing an offensive on Liman, Severodonetsk and Slavyansk.
