European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen responded to the Russian Gazprom’s statement about stopping gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria.

This was stated by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

She stressed that Europeans can trust that “we are united and in solidarity with the affected Member States.”

“Gazprom’s statement is another attempt by Russia to blackmail us with gas. We are ready for such a scenario. We are preparing our coordinated response,” she wrote on Twitter .
