Xiaomi introduced the first representative of the Redmi K50 series. It was the gaming Redmi K50 Cybersport Edition, for which the company has been preparing us for the last week. The main advantages of the model were a special design (especially in the blue version with black inserts), improved hardware triggers on the ends, balanced hardware and an attractive price. The Redmi K50 gaming phone is built on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with a large heat dissipation area, equipped with a 120Hz display with 480Hz touch, JBL stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6 and a 4700mAh battery with 120W charging. All this, as conceived by the company, should provide the device with the status of a must-have among the gaming community.

The camera is not a hallmark of this category of gadgets. The Redmi K50 GE has a triple module with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main sensor, 8-megapixel wide and a macro cap. This module can write video in 4K@60fps and slo-mo up to 960fps. For selfies and video calls, a 20-megapixel Sony IMX596 front camera is allocated in a hole in the center. Emphasizes the camera LED flash, designed in the form of a lightning bolt. Unusual.

Xiaomi Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is offered in three main colors: gray, black and blue. In addition, three memory configurations are available: 8/128, 12/128 and 12/256 GB. Prices start at 3299 yuan, which brings the device as close as possible to the Motorola Edge X30 in terms of the most affordable one with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on board. The start of sales will take place this week. Whether there will be an international version is still unknown.
