TCL introduced the TCL 30 line of smartphones at MWC 2022 – it includes five smartphones, called TCL 30 5G, TCL 30+, TCL 30, TCL 30 SE and TCL 30 E, if sorted from the most advanced to the most affordable. But even the TCL 30 5G cannot be called a flagship: the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and a 6.7 “AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels without increased hertz. The set of cameras is quite simple: 50 MP (JN1) plus two 2-MP plugs on 5010mAh battery with 18W charging, NFC, power button fingerprint, 4GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage. euro / 279 dollars.
TCL 30 and TCL 30+ are almost the same smartphones, differing from TCL 30 5G, first of all, by the chipset. Instead of Dimensity 700, the little-known and apparently low-powered MediaTek Helio G37 (a light upgrade of the G35 from Redmi 9C) is used here. In addition, the TCL 30 was equipped with a simple 8-megapixel front camera, while the 30+ got a 13-megapixel wide from the older model. Otherwise, everything is the same: 6.7 “Full HD AMOLED without hertz, triple camera 50 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP, 5010 mAh, 18 W charging, NFC, a fingerprint scanner at the end and 4 GB of RAM. TCL 30 c 64 GB of memory will cost 179 euros, TCL 30+ with 128 GB will cost 199 euros.
Finally, TCL 30 SE and TCL 30 E are also almost identical smartphones, but they are very different from the older trinity. They received 6.52 “IPS screens with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels, MediaTek Helio G25 chipsets, a 5000 mAh battery without fast charging support, 50-megapixel main cameras (again JN1), NFC and a fingerprint scanner. Only the design and secondary cameras differ. (two 2MP and 8MP front cameras in 30 SE, one plug and 5MP front camera in 30 E) and memory capacities. 30 SE with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM is 10 euros more expensive.
