Blackview has announced the imminent launch of an improved model of the “indestructible” smartphone OSCAL S60 Pro. Its key feature will be an infrared night vision camera that allows you to take photos and videos in complete darkness. It is based on an 8-megapixel Sony IMX219 sensor, to which a pair of IR emitters has been added. According to the manufacturer, it can be used in many scenarios in everyday life: from finding a way in the night forest and shooting pets to finding lost objects in a dark corner under the sofa.
At the same time, OSCAL S60 Pro, like many other Blackview models, is made in a reliable shock-resistant case with advanced protection certificates: IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H. Together, they guarantee the smartphone’s resistance to the most extreme conditions, including drops, shocks, temperature changes, immersion in water and dust.
In terms of hardware, the OSCAL S60 Pro is sufficient for basic everyday tasks, which will be handled by the eight-core MediaTek Helio A25 chipset with 4/64 GB of memory, expandable with microSD cards up to 1 TB. The screen is represented by a 5.7″ LCD panel (1440 x 720 pixels), and the device is powered by a 5580 mAh battery. The set of cameras, in addition to the already mentioned night vision sensor, includes a 13-megapixel main (Sony IMX258) and an 8-megapixel front (Sony IMX219) sensors It is possible that two of the four lenses on the back, depicted in the renders, are props.
And although it is already known that the OSCAL S60 Pro belongs to the initial price range, specific prices have not yet been announced. In the near future, the manufacturer promises to provide more information. More information about the new product can be found on the official Blackview website at the link below:
