Time flies, and with it, the once popular devices are rapidly becoming obsolete. Today, four years after launch, Samsung said goodbye to its 2018 flagship models, the Galaxy S9 and S9+. This event did not come as a surprise, because the manufacturer honestly provided the devices with the declared four years of software support. After receiving the March Android security patch, both models left the Samsung software support catalog. Recall that the Galaxy S9 and S9 + started on Android 8.0 and updated to Android 10 with One UI 2.5. The devices are remembered for their compact dimensions, unique cameras with variable aperture f / 1.5 – f / 2.4 and became the latest models of the Galaxy S family with a finger scanner not under the screen.
