Infinix has announced its first 5G-enabled smartphone, the Zero 5G. The manufacturer positions it as an affordable gaming smartphone. And if everything plus or minus is clear with the game part (MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, 120 Hz screen, 240 Hz touch, stereo speakers, branded gaming chips), the company has not yet named the price. From the point of view of design, a reference to the OPPO Find X3 is felt, but the body is made entirely of plastic – and they didn’t even bother with the texture for the kind of leathery orange version. The 6.78″ display is made using IPS technology and offers a resolution of 2460×1080 pixels (20.5:9). The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, 33W fast charging is supported.
The set of cameras turned out to be somewhat strange. The main camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels can shoot slow-motion video at 960 fps, and it is accompanied by a 13-megapixel telephoto camera with a two-fold zoom and a 2-megapixel bokeh cap. There is no wide-angle camera, which is rather unusual; however, this is not the first time Infinix has removed the “width”, leaving the telephoto. 16-megapixel front camera is equipped with a dual LED flash. There is support for Wi-Fi 6, wired headphones and FM radio. For Russia, the smartphone has not yet been announced, but the release may take place later.
