The city will be closed railway station station Odessa-Glavnaya.
The Odessa Regional Military Administration issued an order according to which a curfew is introduced in Odessa from 22:00 on May 1 to 05:00 on May 3. During the specified period of time it is forbidden to be on the streets and other public places without special passes and certificates.
For the period of the extended curfew, commuter trains and long-distance trains that run to and from Odessa have been temporarily canceled.
This was reported by the press service of “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
“Also, during the curfew in the city, the railway station of the Odessa-Glavnaya station will be closed. Commuter trains that run in the Odessa region and do not call in Odessa will continue to move,” the message says.
The curfew is connected, in particular, with the fact that May 2 is the eighth anniversary of the tragic events in Odessa. On this day in 2014, participants in the Odessa anti-Maidan attacked Ukrainian activists in the city center. During the clashes, shots were fired and several people were killed.
By the way, in another territory of the Odessa region , the curfew regime remains unchanged – from 22:00 to 05:00.
Recall that on April 23, as a result of an enemy missile attack on Odessa , an entire family, three generations of women, died : grandmother Luda, young mother Valeria and her 3-month-old daughter Kira. They said goodbye to the family on Wednesday, April 27, in the city center. The farewell ceremony was held at the Transfiguration Cathedral.
