If you suddenly miss the new Xiaomi products, then soon the company plans to present a new generation of the “people’s” line – Redmi Note 12. This is indicated by the appearance of devices in the TENAA regulator database, as reported by the Digital Chat Station informant this morning. Moreover, as the WhyLab publication clarifies, we are talking about the older Redmi Note 11 Pro and 11 Pro + models. Both devices have the same dimensions (163.64 x 74.29 x 8.8 mm) and the same screen size of 6.6″. But the battery capacity is different: 4300 mAh (nominal ~ 4500 mAh) in the case of Note 11 Pro+ (22041216UC) and 4980 mAh (typical ~5000 mAh) in Note 11 Pro.

Such a gap in capacity may indicate that the space inside the older model was spent on something else – for example, more powerful 120-150W charging technology. The description also mentions Android 12 as the base OS. If Xiaomi has indeed returned to the semi-annual release cycle of Redmi Note, the release of the Redmi Note 12 line can be expected in the very near future.
