Last summer, Samsung and Google shook up the stagnant smartwatch market by bringing WearOS 3 back into the Galaxy Watch 4 family. Now the Korean tech giant is working on the Galaxy Watch 5 generation, the first details of which are starting to surface online. As before, the line of smartwatches will include two models, however, according to SamMobile, this time the company will abandon the Classic model, replacing it with the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. At the same time, it is not yet known whether it will lose the rotating frame characteristic of the Classic model and beloved by fans. It is also mentioned that the “firmware” can get a serious increase in autonomy due to a 60% larger battery: 572 mAh versus 361 mAh for its predecessor. The presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series may take place towards the end of summer.
