Within the next month, the Japanese company Sharp is likely to introduce a new flagship smartphone Aquos R7. There are still very few leaks related to him, and if they do, they come from rather strange sources. For example, a Twitter user with the nickname @muodosa and 18 followers in four years published only a postcard in honor of the sixth anniversary of the account, a view from the window, a couple of photos of food and one selfie. And yesterday I gave birth to a series of photos of protective cases and films for Sharp Aquos R7. Here’s what he showed:
Also, @muodosa posted a CAD render of the case. Please note that it is the cover, and not the smartphone itself: the case is depicted in green, and the Aquos R7 body is shown in gray. Thus, the green outline in the front view is not symmetrical frames on all sides, but a case that has the same thickness along all edges of the case. Be careful.
So what do we see in these images? First, Sharp will stay true to the One Big Camera concept. In addition to the giant eye, two small ones are visible in the middle; most likely, like last year, this is a ToF camera and a flash. At the same time, the design of the camera has become much neater than before – no more huge asymmetrical blotches. The USB Type-C connectors (bottom center) and 3.5 mm (top left) remained in place, but the end buttons moved down sharply. Recall that in Aquos R6 their unfortunate location was one of the objects of criticism along with the waterfall screen. By the way, they will also refuse it: the display will be flat. The Google Assistant call button will also be removed. We learn about other innovations of Sharp Aquos R7 from new leaks.
