The popular AnTuTu benchmark has published a fresh rating of smartphones, which was marked by the debut of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Immediately, 7 out of 10 positions in January 2022 were occupied by devices with Qualcomm’s 4nm flagship, and the remaining three models are built on Snapdragon 888+ and create a kind of contrast: the difference between the last peloton Xiaomi 12 and the best of the “three eights” Black Shark 4S Pro was about 70,000 points. Interestingly, only three models entered the “millionaires club”: IQOO 9 Pro, IQOO 9 and Realme GT 2 Pro, while OnePlus 10 Pro lacked 6500 parrots. Xiaomi 12 Pro, Motorola Edge X30 and the already mentioned Xiaomi 12 also gained a foothold in the January ranking.
By the way, the Motorola and OnePlus variants received 8 GB of RAM (a rarity for AnTuTu), while 12 GB remains the most popular option. In terms of ROM, everything is also interesting: five options with 256 GB, four examples with 512 GB and only one, Motorola Edge X30, with 128 GB. In the next ranking, the Samsung Galaxy S22 should debut. Other novelties with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 are not yet indicated. By tradition, we remind you that AnTuTu numbers are only a guideline, and real performance is shown only in real tests. Here are some of them:
