The Russian rock band “Bi-2” canceled their concert in the city of Omsk when they found out that they would have to perform in front of a huge banner with the symbols of the Russian occupiers, the letter “Z”.
The band’s performance was to take place on Thursday, April 28, at 19:00 at the Krasnaya Zvezda stadium. But when the band members saw that the banner had not been removed before the concert, they simply turned around and left.
According to Russian media, on the eve of the performance, representatives of the group hung a banner with a black mourning cloth. This was reported by a local official. He went out to the audience in the hall before the concert and explained:
“Many people know that the Red Star has a large banner with the flag of our state and the inscription “For the President!” on it. canvas. We did it secretly, at night. Without coordinating with anyone. We spent the whole day in negotiations, but the organizers refused to meet halfway. As a result, we had to remove this black fabric from the banner on our own, after which the artists refused to perform in front of the Omychs, ” the official said.
Note that it is not known what led the Bi-2 group and their representatives. As previously reported, in May 2022, the team was supposed to perform in Kyiv. However, due to the war in Ukraine, the group canceled their performance at the Moscow VDNKh and offered Ukrainian fans to exchange tickets for a show in Moscow.
