With the help of many nozzles included in the kit, Kitfort KT-9103, as stated in the description, can not only wash and disinfect floors, but also steam fabrics, wash glass and tiles, and clean various surfaces from dirt and grease. The steam cleaner is equipped with nozzles for all cleaning purposes, has a power of 2000 W and a maximum pressure of up to 4 bar.

The Kitfort KT-9103 steam cleaner comes in a large rectangular cardboard box. On the front side of the branded packaging there is a schematic image of the device, its full name and slogan. The side faces contain technical information and a brief description of the advantages of the model.
The package is not equipped with a carrying handle. The body of the steam cleaner and all its accessories are placed in individual plastic bags and, thanks to the foam inserts, are in a stationary state in the box.

At first sight
Beautiful housing Kitfort KT-9103 is made of two types of plastic: glossy black and matte purple. All components of the steam cleaner are made of matt black plastic. The design, reminiscent of a small vacuum cleaner, is equipped with wheels that facilitate the movement of the steam cleaner on the floor.
Front bottom – the junction of the steam hose with the body. Indicators of steam readiness and lack of water are located in the upper part of the case on the side.
The steam cleaner has a carrying handle. In the tapered part of the body, the handle starts from the hole for parking the steam gun and passes into the translucent lid of the accessory compartment. The opening of the boiler hid under the cover.
A stainless steel boiler with a capacity of 1.5 liters is immured in the body. Water is poured into the tank through a narrow hole with a diameter of 1.5 cm and tightly twisted with a lid. The lid is heavy, metal inside. The junction of the cover with the housing is sealed with a rubber gasket.
For the convenience of pouring water, the kit includes a measuring cup with a volume of 800 ml with a narrow spout.
At the very bottom, a 2.8 m power cord is attached to the steam cleaner, a little higher on the side there is a power button protected by a silicone pad.
Above is a groove for installing a cord holder.
At the bottom of the steam cleaner is a sticker with technical information and a small wheel that provides maneuverability.
Consider the device of a steam gun. The base of the gun has a ribbed surface slightly narrowed closer to the steam button. The button is located on the outside of the gun and falls under the thumb. The element is equipped with a lock that allows you to block the steam supply in order to avoid accidental pressing or to fix the button in the pressed position, thus ensuring a continuous supply of steam.
Above is a release button for changing nozzles, and on the left side is a steam regulator wheel.
The design is crowned by a steam nozzle with two sealing rings. Rings are needed so that when the nozzle is put on, steam does not leak out. The set includes two of the same, spare. As well as a cap to protect the rings on the nozzle if it is used without extension tubes and nozzles.
Kitfort KT-9103 comes with fifteen accessories.
Extension tubes are put on the steam gun, then the necessary nozzle is attached to them.
In addition to nozzles for hard-to-reach places, glass cleaning and steaming, the set includes two round brushes: brass and nylon, as well as a floor brush with a frame that prevents the rag from scoring when sliding on the floor, and a clothes holder.
Two rags: for the floor and for steaming – also included. Each accessory in the set is presented in a single copy.
Nozzles are put on and removed tightly, due to which they “sit” firmly and do not jump out of the connection.
Instruction
The instruction manual is a 23-page A5 brochure. After reading the instructions, the user will learn about the device, its configuration, preparation for operation, safety measures and care for the device.
It is especially worth paying attention to the description of the purpose of each of the nozzles and recommendations for working with various surfaces. The manual is easy to read and contains exactly the amount of information that you may need before using the steam cleaner. Everything is logical, clear and to the point.
Control
Before using the steam cleaner, the boiler must be filled with water. Since the water level in the tank is not visible, the instructions give recommendations on the amount of water to fill, depending on the desired steam supply time.

After filling the boiler, the steam cleaner must be connected to the network and press the power button. When the steam pressure in the boiler reaches its maximum value, the steam ready indicator will light up, which means that you can start working.
Now, if necessary, a nozzle is installed. When changing nozzles, keep the steam button locked to prevent accidental pressing. To do this, the blocker is moved to the closed lock position. The wheel-regulator makes it possible to smoothly change the power of steam supply during operation.
Steam is sprayed by pressing the steam button. For a constant supply of steam, the button pressed all the way can be fixed with a lock. The corresponding indicator will notify that the boiler has run out of water.
Exploitation
No special actions are required before using the Kitfort KT-9103. It is enough to carefully read the instructions, understand the purpose of the nozzles and pour water into the tank. To do this, lift the lid of the accessory compartment and unscrew the lid of the boiler. The lid unscrews easily, but for a long time – 13 full turns. It is easy to pour water, a measuring cup is included in the kit.
A full water tank (1.5 l) heated up in 9 minutes. The time of continuous steam supply was 40 minutes, which coincides with the one stated in the instructions.
The steam cleaner is easy to use, but sometimes inconvenient. You can’t see the water in the tank. The indicator notifies that it has ended, but it happens suddenly. It is impossible to fill in water during operation without waiting for the steam cleaner to cool completely. You will have to turn off the device, wait at least 20 minutes (and the instructions advise all 30) and only then fill the tank with water; add to this 9 minutes for heating, and as a result, right in the midst of cleaning, you may need a technical break for at least half an hour, and this is not always convenient. By the way, in the first 20 minutes after turning off the hot device, the lid does not unscrew at all, we managed to remove it only after the device had completely cooled down. Plus, the tank is non-removable, which means that at the end of work, if not all the water has been used up, you need to wait for the device to cool down and turn it upside down over the sink. The neck of the reservoir is narrow, and to drain all the water, you need to shake it well.
Attachments are simple and intuitive. Some of them are put on a steam nozzle, some on a jet nozzle. After a one-time study of the instructions, everything will be clear just by looking at the design and shape of the nozzle itself.
Now about the steam button. It is too tight and when you press it, the thumb is in tension. You can fix the button in the pressed state with a lock, but the continuous supply of steam is not always in place.
The steam cleaner is maneuverable, easily moves along the floor, its cord length is average – 2.8 m.
Care
To minimize salt deposits and avoid spoilage and blooming of the water remaining in the boiler, empty it after each use. In addition, after about 5 fillings, the boiler must be rinsed from scale. To do this, pour 0.3-0.8 liters of water into the container, tighten the lid and shake the steam cleaner vigorously. If hard water has been used, chemical descaling may be required.
Our measurements
The maximum power of the steam cleaner, recorded by us during the tests, was 1988 watts.
During heating, the device operates almost silently, as it heated up, only a quiet hiss was heard. During operation, the steam coming out of the nozzle of the nozzles makes a loud noise. The noise level depends on the nozzle used.

Mirror
The mirror in the bathroom reaches almost to the ceiling, and it is not very convenient to wash it in the traditional way. With a steam cleaner and its two extension tubes, the problem was solved simply. Without spraying anything on the mirror surface, we went over it with the steam nozzle up and down, literally a couple of times. Steam power was minimal. The mirror instantly became clean and very wet.
Then we turned off the steam supply and installed a scraper on the nozzle, which collected all the excess moisture.
A clean mirror in a couple of minutes is wonderful!
Result: excellent.
Glass ceramic hob and oven door
In anticipation of testing, the hob was not cleaned for ten days.
We processed the glass-ceramic surface at medium steam power with a nylon brush mounted on the steam nozzle.
Basically, the steam cleaner coped, but there were still areas with soot on the panel.
Having removed the brush, the steam nozzle went through the joints of the panel with the countertop and successfully removed everything that had accumulated from there.
After we tried to clean the baking sheet and the oven door from the inside.
Hot steam succumbed to the upper edge of the door, the handle, as well as the gap between the door and the oven itself. We did not succeed in removing fat from the inside of the glass door and soot from the baking sheet.
Cleaning products in this test, as well as in subsequent ones, were not involved.
Result: acceptable
Floor cleaning (laminate)
Using a floor brush with a rag, you can not only carry out wet cleaning, but also disinfect the floor with steam from germs and bacteria. This is especially true in the hallway.
The floor was previously vacuumed. The rag from the kit was fixed on the brush with special clips and a frame for the carpet. But after a couple of movements on the floor, the frame fell off, so we put it aside and did not return to it again. In addition, the thickness of the frame does not allow the rag to come into direct contact with the floor.
There was even less water on the laminate after cleaning than we expected, and after 5 minutes there was no trace of it at all.

Floor cleaning (linoleum) and plastic baseboards
Before the test, the floor was not washed on purpose for a long time, it was trampled heavily, and now we finally brought it to a suitable state.
The embossed pattern of linoleum successfully accumulates dust and dirt, so the steam cleaner in our case is a godsend. First of all, we went over the dirtiest areas with a nylon brush.
Then we switched to a floor brush with a rag put on it.
She collected all the dirt raised by the steam to the surface, and removed excess moisture.
The steam supply power was set to the maximum, since linoleum is not afraid of a steam attack.
The floor cleaned up effortlessly. In total, 20 minutes were spent covering approximately 8 m².
After removing the nylon brush, the steam nozzle went over the baseboard, washed off the adhering dust and wiped the surface dry.
Wallpaper under the influence of steam is not deformed.
Result: excellent
Door
We purposefully stained the white door and let the dirty spray dry for a couple of days.
Worked with a steamer. It took us 2 minutes to remove the stains on medium steam power. As a result, cleanliness, as if there was nothing. The paint on the door was not damaged.
If the dirt on the door itself was artificially created by us, then in the crevices of the door frame and the threshold we found the dust of centuries. In the photo below, you can see the dirt that has already partially flown off from the steam from the top of the door jamb.
With two strokes of the steam nozzle around the perimeter of the door frame, we brushed off all the dust and then wiped the surface with a dry cloth.
Result: excellent
findings
The Kitfort KT-9103 steam cleaner proved to be a multifunctional device that copes well with simple tasks. We tested it in work with different surfaces, washed trampled linoleum, mirrors, laminate with it, cleaned the plinth and cracks in the doors, washed the joints of the hob with the countertop, and only in one test did it not live up to our expectations: when removing carbon deposits and old greasy traces on kitchen appliances will not be possible without the use of chemicals.
The pluses include a nice design, compact size, light weight and maneuverability of the device.
