Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine acquire skills in the use of artillery, radar systems and new armored vehicles.
Members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have begun additional training at US military bases, in particular in Germany.
This was announced at a briefing on April 29 by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, reports CNN.
According to him, the Ukrainian military is mastering new artillery, radar systems and armored vehicles – that is, weapons that “were recently announced as part of security assistance packages.”
Most of the training will be conducted by the Florida National Guard, and they take place in at least three countries, including Germany.
On the same day, a senior US Department of Defense official said that “more than a dozen flights” with military assistance for Ukraine will arrive in the European region for onward transportation to our country “within the next 24 hours.”
Recall that the United States Senate unanimously voted for an important bill to revive the World War II program. This will allow US President Joe Biden to more effectively send weapons to Ukraine to protect against Russian aggression.
